Ask Documentation Gets Major AI Upgrade
We've significantly enhanced the Ask Documentation feature over the past weeks. This AI-powered tool now provides much more useful guidance for building IoT applications on TagoIO.

The Ask Documentation bot now has real-time access to the complete TagoIO Help Center, including all documentation, tutorials, API references, and SDK guides. This means you get current, accurate answers instead of outdated information.
We've also improved the bot's ability to help with actual development work:
- Analysis Code Assistance - Get specific code suggestions and debugging help for your automation scripts
- Parser Development Support - Troubleshoot Payload Parser and Schema Parser implementations with targeted guidance
- Architecture-Aware Recommendations - The bot understands TagoIO's structure, so suggestions actually work within your application context
The interface improvements make conversations more practical:
- Expanded Interface - The chat window gives you proper space to read code responses and detailed explanations
- Session Context - Ask follow-up questions within the same chat without repeating yourself - the bot remembers what you discussed earlier in that conversation
Access Ask Documentation through the help menu in any TagoIO account. Look for the question mark icon in the top navigation, then select "Ask Documentation" from the dropdown.
This update sets the foundation for bigger changes ahead. We're working on letting you use custom AI models within TagoIO and adding context awareness so the bot can help create Dashboards and Analysis scripts based on your actual device data and application structure. We're also developing an improved UI experience that will make these upcoming features even easier to use.
The Ask Documentation feature represents our approach to bringing AI into IoT development - making it actually useful for building real applications, not just answering generic questions. Try it out and let us know what you think.
